Fund Investment Objective & Strategy
The fund seeks to provide investors with medium to long term capital appreciation by investing primarily through a portfolio consisting of listed securities of companies that derive or are expected to derive a significant portion of their revenues from goods produced or sold, investments made or services performed in Greater China, which includes the People’s Republic of China (PRC), the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and Taiwan.

Key Risks
PRC Market Risk: Many of the economic reforms in the PRC are unprecedented or experimental and are subject to adjustment and modification, and such adjustment and modification may not always have a positive effect on foreign investment in joint stock limited companies in the PRC or in A-shares, B-shares and H-shares. Under prevailing regulations in the PRC, foreign investors can only invest in A Shares as Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (“QFII”). As at the date of this statement, the Manager has not obtained QFII status in the PRC. Consequently, there can be no assurance that the Sub-Fund and the Manager will be able to allocate assets in the Sub-Fund for investment in A Shares under prevailing regulations in the PRC. The PRC government’s control of currency conversion and future movements in exchange rates may adversely affect the operations and financial results of the companies in which the Sub-Fund may invest. Emerging Markets Risk: Investing in emerging markets may involve a greater risk of loss than investing in developed markets due to, among other factors, greater political, tax, economic, foreign exchange, liquidity and regulatory risks. Jurisdiction Concentration Risk: The concentration of the Sub-Fund’s investments in the Greater China region may result in greater volatility than portfolios that comprise broad-based global investments. Counterparty and Settlement Considerations: The Sub-Fund will be exposed to credit risk on the counterparties with which it trades and may also bear the risk of settlement default. Investment Risk: An investment in the Sub-Fund may involve a high degree of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. The value of the Units in the Sub-Fund and the income accruing to the Sub-Fund, if any, may fall or rise.
