LENOVO Yang Yuanqing: Next Step of AI Development is to Enter Implementation Phase

LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing said a few days ago that the next step in the development of AI is from technological breakthroughs into application, Securities Times reported. He noted that AI technology needs to keep accumulating user feedback and continuously improve throughout its application. LENOVO has therefore developed multiple AI agents including Industry AI Agent and Baiying AI Agent using its Optimus AI Agent Engine (literal translation of "擎天智能體引擎"), aiming to accelerate the implementation of AI applications for government and enterprise customers. In addition, Dai Wei, Senior Vice President and General Manager of China Solution Services Business Group at LENOVO, unveiled the Optimus AI Agent Engine at 2024 Lenovo Tech World. He also demonstrated Portfolio 2.0, a new product portfolio for government and major enterprises, Baiyin AI Agent for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and active intelligent services embedded into Lenovo Xiaotian AI Agent, targeted for consumer users. Dai said that based on the strong service system support of the Solution Services Business Group, LENOVO has reconstructed the AI-native solution service and formulated the "One Engine & Three Starships" strategy. Under that, Optimus AI Agent Engine will function as an important tool for implementing AI applications for customers, curating full-stacked full-cycle intelligent transformation services for the 3 major customer groups of government and major enterprises, SMEs, and consumers.
