China Property Mgmt Institute Pairs with MEITUAN-W to Advocate Industry to Foster Smooth Delivery

The China Property Management Institute announced the joint issue of the “Initiative on Jointly Facilitating the 'Last One Hundred Meters’ of Smooth Delivery Services” with MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) last Thursday (12th), calling on property service companies to work together with delivery platforms and riders to facilitate the “Last One Hundred Meters” of delivery services and build a more harmonious and friendly community. The Institute organized Meituan to hold a discussion with representatives from more than 10 property management companies, including ONEWO, Greentown, Poly, COUNTRY GARDEN (02007.HK) and LONGFOR GROUP (00960.HK), focusing on actively participating in community party building and joint construction of mechanism, establishing a regular communication and coordination mechanism among communities, owners, property services, delivery riders and other parties regular communication and coordination mechanisms to jointly explore comprehensive governance solutions that take into account community order, owner experience and rider convenience, and to solve the hiccups of the last one hundred meters of takeaway delivery and discuss innovative measures. To solve the problem of threshold for riders, Meituan has cooperated with large property service companies, such as ONEWO and CHINA OVS PPT (02669.HK), to launch the “rider-friendly community access solution” since August. Riders can register with a single scan of a code at the entrance to the community, where their identity is verified instantly in just about 5 seconds. As of September 9, the solution has been put into use in nearly 4,500 communities across the country, serving riders by a total of 5.5 million person-time. AAStocks Financial News |
