China Telecom Completes AI Deployment; Tianyi Cloud Evolving into Intelligent Cloud

Ke Ruiwen, Chairman and CEO of CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK), announced that the company has completed its artificial intelligence deployment, encompassing five major systems: SaaS, MaaS, DaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Tianyi Cloud, the company’s cloud computing arm, is set to fully transition toward intelligent cloud development in the future. Looking ahead to 2025, China Telecom anticipates promising growth in service revenue, EBITDA, and net profit, with intelligent revenue expected to achieve rapid growth. Ke also highlighted that DeepSeek offers high performance, low cost, lightweight design, and open-source access, presenting an unprecedented opportunity for AI development. In February, the company launched the DeepSeek-integrated Xirang appliance, which has received an overwhelming market response. Preliminary estimates indicate that signed contracts have reached RMB600 million to date.
