NVIDIA (NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang held a closed-door meeting with the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs to discuss Huawei’s growing AI capabilities, Reuters, citing sources, reported.

If DeepSeek R1 had been trained on Huawei chips, or if future open-source Chinese models were highly optimized for Huawei chips, it could potentially drive global market demand for Huawei chips, sources quoted Huang as saying.
