BABA-W (09988.HK) (BABA.US)'s China commercial business, Taobao Tmall Group (TTG), had a strong overall performance in 2025 Taobao Tmall 618 shopping festival, with turnover of 453 brands exceeding RMB100 million, according to BABA-W.

This year's Tmall 618 saw a record-breaking user scale and double-digit YoY growth in the number of purchasers. Taobao Hong Kong also saw the highest number of participating users in its history, with the number of new users more than tripling from the same period last year.

The highlights of the event as of 18 June include 453 brands' turnover exceeded RMB100 million, BABA-W added. Of which, Apple (AAPL.US), MIDEA GROUP (00300.HK), HAIER SMARTHOME (06690.HK), XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), Huawei, Nike (NKE.US), vivo, Adidas, L'Oreal, Lululemon(LULU.US), and many other brands were among the “1 billion club” of Tmall 618 event, with turnover surpassing RMB1 billion.

During 2025 618 event, the turnover of LAOPU GOLD (06181.HK), for example, broke through RMB1 billion for the first time this year.
