CATL (03750.HK) suspended mining operations at its Yichun project after the mining license expired on August 9. The news spurred GANFENGLITHIUM (01772.HK) to open 11.24% higher today (11th), at HKD31.28, with a trading volume of 1.3578 million shares, involving HKD42.472 million.

TIANQI LITHIUM (09696.HK) opened 14.97% higher, at HKD47.16, with a trading volume of 505,200 shares, involving HKD23.8252 million.
