Chinese AI chip company, Biren Technology, has submitted a confidential listing application to HKEX (00388.HK)through the technology enterprises channel (TECH) in recent weeks, Financial Times quoted multiple sources as saying. Moreover, the report added that Biren Technology's competitors Enflame Technology and AI firm Zhipu also planned to submit listing applications to HKEX in the near future. It is believed that HKEX's introduction of TECH, which allows specialist technology and biotech companies to submit listing applications confidentially, helps attract tech firms to list in Hong Kong.
