The MSCI China Index's quarterly adjustment added 14 and removed 17 constituent stocks, according to a CICC report. The broker was concerned about the positive impact on GDS-SW (09698.HK), CITIC FAMC (02799.HK), and BOSS ZHIPIN-W (02076.HK) (BZ.US), as well as the negative impact on TME-SW (01698.HK) (TME.US) and HISENSE HA (00921.HK). In terms of absolute weighting changes, CICC estimated that the weightings of 3SBIO (01530.HK), MEITU (01357.HK), GDS-SW, and HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK) would increase by 0.26-0.15%. In contrast, TENCENT (00700.HK), TME-SW, BABA-W (09988.HK), and LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) have seen the largest drops in weightings, ranging from 0.24% to 0.07%, due to dilution effects.
