Following a conference call held by JIANGXI COPPER (00358.HK) yesterday, Citi decided to raise the target price of its H-shares from HKD19.1 to HKD27.9, Citi said in its report. The target price for Jiangxi Copper A-shares (600362.SH) increased from RMB25 to RMB33.8. A Buy rating was maintained for both H/ A shares. The broker also opened a 90-day Positive Catalyst Watch on the company, as it believed China’s copper cathode production cut in September - October 2025, and US rate cut expectations, may support market sentiment for copper-related stocks in the short term.
