TENCENT on Lawsuit by miHoYo: Won't Provide User Data Illegally

In response to the addition of a new "other civil" lawsuit between Shanghai miHoYo Ying Tie Technology Co., Ltd. (literal translation of "上海米哈遊影鐵科技有限公司") and Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Co., Ltd. (literal translation of "深圳市騰訊電腦系統有限公司"), TENCENT (00700.HK) stated that this lawsuit was initiated by miHoYo in order to obtain relevant QQ user data for its own civil litigation needs. TENCENT stressed that it won't provide user data in violation of laws protecting user privacy. Such data can only be provided through formal judicial litigation procedures.
