Weeks before the launch of Apple (AAPL.US)'s iPhone 17 series, sales of Apple's phones dropped by 6% YoY in China, a decline steeper than that seen before previous new releases, according to foreign media reports that cited data from Counterpoint Research. Likewise, phone makers, including XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), vivo, and HONOR, also recorded sales falls in the first eight weeks of 3Q25.
