Based on preliminary data, Macau welcomed a total of 1.144 million tourists during the Mainland's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays (October 1-8), the Macau Government Tourism Office announced. Averaging 143,000 inbound tourists per day also marks an increase of 1.9% and 2.8% compared to the average daily tourist numbers during 2024's and 2019's National Day holidays, making it the highest count for the National Day holiday on record.
