Global integrated logistics provider Maersk (AMKBY.US) and CATL (03750.HK) (300750.SZ) signed a memorandum of cooperation in Hong Kong. Under the memorandum, the two parties will engage in comprehensive and in-depth cooperation on the low-carbon transformation of the global supply chain and CATL's global supply chain management. The cooperation will leverage CATL's leading advantages in advanced battery technology, energy storage solutions, and battery recycling to promote the electrification of key supply chain segments. Meanwhile, Maersk will designate CATL as its priority partner for battery technology. They plan to jointly explore the electrification of Maersk's container fleet, port ecosystems, inland transportation, and warehousing, covering power system design, energy management, and battery recycling solutions.
