BYD Produces 14 Millionth NEV at Brazilian Plant

BYD COMPANY-100 (01211.HK) announced that its 14 millionth new energy vehicle (NEV) was completed yesterday (9th) at its factory in Brazil. BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu gifted the vehicle to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. BYD has been tapped into Brazil for over 11 years and has been the top seller in the Brazilian NEV market for two straight years. By far, there have been over 170,000 BYD vehicle owners in Brazil, and the company plans to deepen its global presence and sustain long-term development in Brazil.
