Grand Opus Holding, a joint venture of BABA-W (09988.HK)'s cross-border e-commerce platform AliExpress and Shinsegae Group, has officially commenced operations, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The company has recently formed a board of directors. It is chaired by Shinsegae Group's chairman Chung Yong-jin, with members including Gmarket's CEO James Chang and AliExpress' representative in Korea Ray Zhang.
