China's National Administration of Financial Regulation (NAFR) issued the Notice on Adjusting Risk Factors for Relevant Businesses of Insurers, offering a 10% discount for eligible composite stocks such as those in the CSI300 and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE)'s STAR Market, Morgan Stanley released a research report saying.

Morgan Stanley believed that the measures may benefit insurers by easing capital requirements and encouraging them to participate in the stock market as long-term investors. This could also be positive for equity markets, as insurers are major investors.
