The number of local and international enterprises conducting business in Hong Kong this year reached a new record high, driving a 3.8% growth in GDP for 3Q25, Agnes Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), said.

The HKGCC will release the latest business outlook survey showing that about half of the enterprises are optimistic about Hong Kong's economic outlook for 2026, a significant increase from 18% recorded in 2024, Chan added.

75% of enterprises reported enhanced operational efficiency during the digital transformation process.
