BEKE-W (02423.HK) bottomed at HK$42.3 this morning, marking a slump of over 5%. It settled at HK$42.8 at midday, down 4.34%, with a turnover of 4.8812 million shares, amounting to HK$209 million. Peng Yongdong, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Beike, sold shares to fulfill a previous donation commitment, as revealed by US stock filings. This is Peng's first equity disposal since Beike's US listing in 2020. In April 2025, Beike had announced that Peng planned to donate 9 million Class A ordinary shares.
