The Asian Development Bank (ADB) raised its 2025/ 2026 economic growth forecasts for 46 developing economies in the Asia-Pacific region from 4.8%/ 4.5% to 5.1%/ 4.6%, respectively.

The institution noted strong demand from high-tech economies within the region, better-than-expected economic growth in India and reduced uncertainty due to tariff agreements with the US, improving the 2025/ 2026 outlook for the region.
