If the US permits Nvidia (NVDA.US) to sell its H200 chips to China, Chinese internet firms could accelerate AI-related investments, rating agency S&P published a report saying.

S&P estimated that, if chip control relaxation is implemented, BABA-W (09988.HK) and TENCENT (00700.HK) could spend US$2 billion or more next year on H200 chips, excluding procurement expenditures on other domestic and international AI chips.
