In the first eleven months of this year, Macau's total visitor count reached 36.5 million, with projection to hit 39 million by the end of the year, said Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes.

International visitors are expected to recover to approximately 80% of pre-pandemic levels, the Director furthered, hoping more international tourists will come to the city in the future.

According to the Macau SAR Government's Policy Address, tourism, economic and trade offices will be established in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, which will become important development points, the Director said.
