Silver prices made a historic breakthrough above the US$80 mark this morning (29th) during the Asian session, with March silver futures elevating 7% to US$82.67 before slipping nearly 1%. Silver prices have risen for six consecutive trading days, with a total increase of approx. 25%, marking the largest six-day gain since 1950.

Some silver-related concept stocks ascended. CHI SILVER GP (00815.HK) peaked at $0.76, and ballooned 4.23% to last at $0.74, with a trading volume of 32.1705 million shares, involving $23.8781 million. JIANGXI COPPER (00358.HK) last printed at $40.64, rallying 9.13%, with a trading volume of 17.09 million shares, involving $699 million.
