The national standards for AI large models were officially implemented, marking a new phase of "scientific authority and unified regulation" for China's large model industry, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing the State Administration for Market Regulation.

As the first national standards focusing on general large models, this series of standards fills the gap in the technical evaluation system, clarifies requirements for performance, safety, and service capabilities, and the supporting evaluation capabilities have been recognized by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).

As of now, the standard tools have completed over a thousand evaluation tasks, invoked large models more than 950,000 times, accurately identifying common issues such as hallucination control and content safety, assisting nearly 30 manufacturers in technology iteration, and promoting the formation of a "R&D-Evaluation-Application-Upgrade" closed loop.
