European aviation giant Airbus and UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) had earlier signed a humanoid robot service agreement, as the Securities Times learned from UBTECH ROBOTICS. Airbus had procured UBTECH ROBOTICS' latest industrial version humanoid robot, Walker S2, for use in its manufacturing plants. In the future, both parties will jointly expand the application of humanoid robots in aviation manufacturing scenarios. This collaboration signifies that UBTECH ROBOTICS, following its strategic partnership with American semiconductor giant Texas Instruments (TXN.US) last year, is gradually expanding the application of humanoid robots in industrial scenarios from mainland China to five major global sectors: aviation manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, 3C electronics manufacturing, smart logistics, and semiconductor manufacturing.
