2025 was a year marked by frequent cross-border exchanges and an increasing number of global merchants using technologies like mini programs and WeChat Pay to drive "smart scenario upgrades", according to the latest WeChat cross-border ecosystem data released by TENCENT (00700.HK). Mini program services have now expanded their reach to 100 countries and regions worldwide, with cross-border and overseas users using them more than 5 billion times throughout the year.
