US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer suggested the possibility of a new round of trade talks with China before President Donald Trump's planned meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in April.

Before the summit between the two leaders, US and Chinese officials may attempt to reach agreements on some non-sensitive trade issues without touching sensitive topics like tech competition and China's supply of rare earth magnets, Greer said.
