Driven by an Asian stock rally, the MPF started January on a high note, according to MPF consultancy GUM. As of January 16, per-capita returns reached HKD8,395. Among the equity funds, the best performers during this month were the Greater China Equity Fund, Asian Equity Fund, and Hong Kong Equity Fund, with returns of 6%, 5.7%, and 5.3%, respectively.
