TENCENT (00700.HK)'s core engines in the WeChat ecosystem, advertising and gaming businesses remain resilient, JPMorgan published a research report saying. It is expected that the impact of AI on the share price trend will surpass the anticipated earnings growth. Compared to its peers, TENCENT's generative AI deployment is still at an earlier stage in terms of model presentation and standalone application momentum, as management prioritized reliability, compliance, and ecosystem compatibility over scale expansion. This positioning leaves the stock less 'AI-priced.' If the Company can demonstrate clear execution and product-market fit this year, it will create upside value.
