Trump Says Not Worried About USD Depreciation; DXY Plunges 1.5%

US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that he is not worried about the depreciation of the USD, and even believes that the value of the USD has not faded much. Following his remarks, the USD Index (DXY) plunged by 1.5% to 95.55, marking a four-year low.

Trump mentioned that the USD is in good shape and he is not concerned about its decline, adding that the USD can go up and down like a yo-yo. He also criticized Asian economies, such as China and Japan, for attempting to devalue their currencies.
