China Aircraft Services (CASL), with CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK) being its major shareholder, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French aviation services company, Elior Asia to establish a joint venture, with each holding a 50% stake. The joint venture will expand into aircraft dismantling, parts recycling, trading and other businesses. The joint venture will also handle the retirement process of aircraft at CASL's hangar at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), including dismantling, parts recertification & trading and metal recycling.
