Jacob Helberg, Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, disclosed that the US will meet with dozens of foreign ministers in Washington next week to seek consensus on a rare earth pricing mechanism that can ensure price stability in the mineral refining and mining industry. Since China implemented a rare earth export licensing system last year, the rare earth supply issue has drawn attention from many countries.
