BNP Paribas Survey: Global Investors Show Growing Interest in CN; Europe, Asia Emerge as Top Investment Destinations

BNP Paribas' annual survey reveals that an increasing number of global investors plan to allocate more capital to hedge funds focused on China this year. A net 14% of investors intend to boost their investments in China-focused funds, with about 9% having already done so last year. While investors' attitudes toward the Chinese market have become more measured, the survey also found that they remain more optimistic about funds covering the broader Asia-Pacific region. A net 30% of respondents plan to raise their holdings in such funds this year, up from the 24% who actually did so last year.
