PBOC Issues RMB50B Central Bank Bills in HK

The People's Bank of China (PBOC), through the bond tender platform of the Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) of Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), issued the first and second series of central bank bills for 2026, with a total issuance amount of RMB50 billion.

Among them, the first series of central bank bills has a term of three months (91 days) with an issuance amount of RMB30 billion; and the second series has a term of one year with an issuance amount of RMB20 billion.
