MPF Ratings: MPF Member Feb Gains Average HKD941 as of 20th; Total Assets Hit Record Level for 10th Consecutive Mth

With a week to go before the month's end, MPF Ratings announced that MPF's February investment gain was around 0.28% as at the 20th. In absolute dollar terms, MPF's investment gain as at February 20 reached around HKD4.5 billion (or HKD941.1 per MPF member). After factoring in contributions and based on current investment results, total MPF assets are presently forecasted to end February at around HKD1.618 trillion (up HKD7.5 billion from the end of February), MPF's highest level for a 10th consecutive month, and equivalent to an average MPF account balance of HKD337,428 (up HKD1,567 from the end of January) per MPF's 4.79 million members.
