Tencent Cloud Plans to Open New Availability Zone in Frankfurt in 2Q26

Tencent Cloud announced at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) a plan to add a new cloud availability zone in Frankfurt, Germany.

Given that the application of Tencent's Hunyuan 3D model and Tencent Cloud's audio-video and palm recognition technologies is sweeping overseas markets at a faster pace, the new availability zone is expected to satisfy the growing AI and cloud service demands in the European region.
