The first and second tranche of savings national bonds (certificated) for 2026 commenced issuance yesterday (10th) at six major banks, naming ICBC, ABC, BOC, CCB, BOCOM and PSBC, as well as some banks like China Zheshang Bank and Bank of Shanghai, according to CCTV. The government bonds is available for purchase exclusively at bank branches. The bonds come in three-year and five-year terms, with interest rates of 1.63% and 1.7% respectively.
