Nvidia (NVDA.US) is preparing to launch a Groq AI chip aimed at the Chinese market, Reuters quoted sources as saying. Nvidia acquired the technology license from AI chip startup Groq for US$17 billion at the end of last year, and showcased a series of new products based on the technology license at its annual developer conference held in California this week. After obtaining export licenses from the US government and procurement orders from Chinese customers, the Company has resumed production of the H200 chip and has begun developing a chip version for the China market, Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, said.
