After NIO-SW (09866.HK)'s Shenji, in collaboration with AXERA (00600.HK), successfully taped out the chip 'M97', Shenji and AXERA are actively engaging with leading automakers such as LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) and GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), Chinese media quoted sources as saying. Moreover, sources noted that NIO-SW's Shenji and AXERA are also planning low-end chips. NIO-SW has not yet responded. William Li, Founder and Chairman of NIO-SW, once stated that the performance of Shenji NX9031 is equivalent to four Nvidia(NVDA.US)'s Orin-X chips. Li also hoped that NIO-SW's self-developed Shenji high-performance computing inference chips can be offered to more partners, including those in industries such as auto and embodied intelligence.
